Waldron Court Docket Searches
Search ARCourts is the best first stop for a Waldron docket. Got a case number or citation number? Pick the Cases option. Have only a name or organization? Use Participants instead. Advanced filters let you narrow results to Scott County and the correct court location. That label matters more than it seems. A Waldron District Court case and a Waldron Circuit Court case are separate records, even when both grow out of the same street address.
- Read the Waldron court name on the citation, summons, notice, or order before opening a search.
- Enter the Waldron citation or case number in Cases mode. Preserve the punctuation printed on the source.
- When searching by name, use enough of the name to narrow the participant results and then select Scott County.
- Match the court location and case number before opening Docket Entries or Future Events.
- Call the Waldron clerk that holds the record when a new case, missing image, or changed setting is unclear.
A portal miss proves nothing. New filings take time to post, older files may live in paper, bound dockets, microfilm, or storage, and confidential records may never show up online at all. For a fuller county-level walkthrough, turn to the Scott County docket search.

Inside the Waldron Municipal Court
The lower court here is officially the Scott County District Court (State District Court), Waldron Department. Arkansas runs a state district-court structure in this spot. The City of Waldron keeps no separate municipal-court office, docket site, or city calendar. A city ticket does not open a second portal. For practical purposes, the state District Court record is the Waldron lower-court docket.
The official court directory lists Danny Thrailkill as Waldron District Judge. DesiRae Hall serves as Chief District Court Clerk. This court handles traffic matters, violations, and misdemeanors. Preliminary criminal matters, small claims, and other limited civil work authorized by Arkansas law round it out. Felonies and general-jurisdiction civil or domestic cases go to Circuit Court. Probate carries a twist: the County Clerk performs the probate-clerk role.
That division of work matters more than any broad label like "municipal court." Start with the document in hand. Its court name tells you which Waldron court record to search. The right clerk can then give a current answer.
Two Waldron Court Dockets
One address does not mean one docket. The District Court register tracks tickets and misdemeanors. Ordinance or violation cases, preliminary matters, and limited civil claims sit there too. The Circuit Court docket covers felonies. It also carries general-jurisdiction criminal, civil, domestic-relations, and juvenile matters. Probate sits within Circuit Court, yet the County Clerk maintains its filings. So a person at the right building can still land at the wrong counter.
| Waldron record | Typical matters | Custodian |
|---|---|---|
| District Court docket | Traffic, violations, misdemeanors, small claims | District Court Chief Clerk |
| Circuit Court docket | Felony, major civil, domestic, juvenile | Scott County Circuit Clerk |
| Probate record | Estates, guardianships, adoptions | Scott County Clerk |
Read the court and the case type together. Adoption records, juvenile material, and sealed filings never carry the same public access as an ordinary open civil case.
Finding Waldron Court Dates
A Waldron court date can show up under Future Events in Search ARCourts. That screen is not a stand-alone Waldron calendar. Compare it against the latest Docket Entries. Also check any notice or order from the Waldron court. A later continuance or amended order can replace an older date. If two settings appear, or the hearing is close, contact the court that holds the case.
| Date | The scheduled day shown in Future Events or the newest court notice. |
|---|---|
| Time | The listed time for docket call or an individual hearing, when entered. |
| Court | The Waldron District or Circuit Court location that owns the setting. |
| Judge | The assigned judicial officer; an assignment may change by court order. |
| Setting Type | The exact event label, such as plea, pretrial, motion hearing, trial, or review. |
No official Waldron daily or weekly calendar exists online. The written notice, the current case entry, and direct clerk confirmation make the sound check chain. And a payment screen is not a court calendar.
Waldron Court Records by Scale
Waldron's 2020 Census population was 3,386, per the official Census incorporated-place table.
The Census view confirms Waldron's place within Scott County. It backs the city's role as the county's largest incorporated city. Court jurisdiction, though, still flows from the named court rather than population rank.
Small-city scale helps explain the setup. Waldron court records run through a statewide search portal. Direct clerk contacts fill the rest. There is no city-built docket system. The offices publish no Waldron filing or ticket total, so population cannot be read as case volume. It also does not shift which clerk holds each court record or which court controls a setting.
Waldron Traffic Ticket Lookups
Start with the paperwork in hand. Off the ticket itself, copy the court name, the citation number, and the appearance date. Search ARCourts takes a citation number in Cases mode. The Scott County and Court Location filters narrow the results when the list runs long. Open Future Events and Docket Entries to see what the court has scheduled and filed. Is the citation brand new? Did the date move, or does the screen disagree with the ticket? If so, call the clerk at 479-637-4694.
Before paying anything, check the Arkansas Online Court Payment list. It names “Waldron, Scott County District Court” as a participating court, which tells you an official payment route exists. It tells you nothing else. Your balance is not there. Your deadline is not there either. The list does not state whether a local option applies, or how a plea would be treated. Because payment can affect the case disposition, follow the court's own instructions before you commit.
Waldron publishes no fine schedule, defensive-driving policy, deferred-disposition program, warrant-amnesty event, night court, kiosk, or remote-hearing program. Borrowing a rule from another Arkansas court is a mistake. For ticket and disposition detail across the whole county, see the Scott County traffic court record material.
Waldron ePay and Court Records
Search and payment answer two different questions. Search ARCourts is where a Waldron case lookup happens: it shows case information, Docket Entries, and Future Events when they are public and available. Arkansas ePay, by contrast, is just a payment channel for participating courts. A payment confirmation is not a substitute for the docket, and a docket match does not mean paying is the right move.
Key distinction: confirm the Waldron court record and legal response first. Use ePay only when the case and court instructions match.
A missing Waldron citation is not always bad news. First recheck the number and the issuing court. A recent ticket may simply not be entered yet. Then call the District Court before the printed deadline instead of waiting for the screen to update. The Waldron clerk can explain the hearing setting and accepted payment methods. The clerk cannot give legal advice.
How Waldron Cases Reach the County
Arkansas court structure is more exact than a simple city-to-county ladder. Waldron's lower matters start in the Scott County District Court. Felonies and general-jurisdiction cases start in Circuit Court. A District Court criminal case can be appealed. That appeal creates new docket activity upstairs in Circuit Court. The 2026 Fifteenth Judicial Circuit plan assigns these appeals. Division 1 takes district-court criminal appeals at Waldron.
Docket flow: Scott County District Court, Waldron Department › Scott County Circuit Court › Arkansas Court of Appeals or Arkansas Supreme Court, as jurisdiction allows.
The appeal gets its own case number and its own record. The District Court entry is not rewritten in place. So search the new number cited in the Waldron notice or order, and confirm the filing with the Circuit Clerk.
Waldron's Historic Court Records
Scott County government has used seven buildings. The active courthouse dates only to 1996. County history reports that fire destroyed three earlier courthouses. That history matters for anyone running a historical Waldron docket search. An old case may not survive in a modern online index. Never assume it does. For municipal research, the Arkansas GIS Waldron boundary update supplies official city-geography context.
A map can settle which Waldron geography you study. It cannot tell you which court kept the file. Ask whether a record series lives on paper, in a bound book, on microfilm, off site, or in digital form. Ask the responsible clerk instead. Find out which docket books survived. Bring a name, a rough year, the court type, and any known case number. That answer beats treating a blank portal result as proof that no record exists.
Who Can See Waldron Court Records
An ordinary public Waldron court record can carry a lot. It may hold basic case details, Docket Entries, parties, a judge, charges or judgments, and Future Events. Some entries link straight to filed documents. Some do not. Even without an image, a public paper may still sit in the clerk's file. Ask about inspection, a plain copy, or certification. Get a current fee quote before you send any money.
Key rules:
Arkansas Supreme Court Administrative Order 19 governs access to court records and excludes protected information.
Ark. Code Ann. § 9-27-309 restricts covered juvenile records.
Arkansas Freedom of Information Act applies to public records generally, while court case access follows the judiciary's specific rules.
Not everything is open. Social Security numbers and protected identifiers are redacted, and juvenile, adoption, sealed, and other confidential material may be missing or restricted. Access to a public docket never unlocks a sealed copy.
Waldron State and Federal Dockets
A Waldron event does not always create an Arkansas state-court case. Bankruptcy is federal and runs on a separate federal system. For that, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas is the official source.
That federal court view is a clue: Search ARCourts will not hold a bankruptcy docket. Federal cases run through PACER and the proper federal clerk.
For free access to federal filings already contributed from PACER, try CourtListener's RECAP archive.
RECAP is a useful archive and nothing more. It is not the official Waldron state docket, and it cannot promise a complete federal file. When completeness or certification matters, verify the record with the originating court.
